TOSOVC Joins Radio Discussions on Violence and Social Justice



MPANDA, KATAVI - TOSOVC (The Tanzania Organization Serving Orphans and Vulnerable Children) is now taking its educational outreach to the airwaves. George Kasabwe , TOSOVC's Program Manager, and Onesmo Lilai , Project Officer, recently participated in a community discussion.

They joined the " SANUKA " program, which focuses on issues of violence and social justice . This program is funded by the BBC and aired on Mpanda Radio FM . Their participation allowed TOSOVC to share valuable insights and information with a broader audience, contributing to public awareness and understanding of these critical topics.

TOSOVC Educates Mpanda Hotel Primary Students on Child Rights and Protection

MPANDA, KATAVI - TOSOVC (The Tanzania Organization Serving Orphans and Vulnerable Children) continues its vital work in educating young minds. The organization's Training and Mobilization Officer, Mr. Ernest Muharuro , recently led an educational session at Mpanda Hotel Primary School in Mpanda Municipality, Katavi Region. As part of TOSOVC's educational program, Mr. Muharuro engaged with children, delivering valuable lessons in a lively and interactive manner. The students learned about their rights , how to avoid acts of violence , and how to identify different types of abuse . Crucially, they were also informed about the appropriate places to report incidents of violence if they ever experience them.
