TOSOVC Joins National Malaria Feedback Meeting in Dodoma, Highlights Community Engagement Successes


Dodoma, Tanzania - Mr. Nikodemas Luhele, Executive Director of the Tanzania Organization of Serving Orphans and Vulnerable Children (TOSOVC) , recently participated in a key feedback meeting on Malaria interventions. The meeting, sponsored by the Network of Non-Governmental Organizations (CONAMET), provided a platform for stakeholders to review the progress of malaria elimination efforts.

During the discussions, led by Dr. Lusasi, Acting Manager of the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) , program stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to partner with the government in the ongoing fight against malaria. They specifically highlighted the significant positive achievements in implementing Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) initiatives , which have been driven by various partners with funding from The Global Fund.

TOSOVC, which actively educates communities on malaria prevention, had the opportunity through its Executive Director to present its collaborative approach to engaging communities in the anti-malaria campaign. Following the detailed feedback, Mr. Luhele extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Health for their continuous support and for fostering an enabling environment that allows stakeholders to effectively reach communities.
